New York Governor Andrew Cuomo outlined the capacity limits on graduations this Spring.
Large-scale outdoor events (more than 500 people) - limited to 20% capacity, with proof of vaccination or a negative test required.
Medium-sized outdoor events (201-500 people) - capped at 33% and will also require proof of vaccination or a negative test.
Small outdoor events (up to 200 people) - capped at 50%, and proof of vaccination or a negative test will be optional.
For indoor events, large-scale events (more than 150 people) - capped at 10%, while medium-sized gatherings (100-150 people) will be at 33% capacity. Proof of vaccination or a negative test will be required.
For small indoor gatherings (up to 100 people) - capacity will be capped at 50%, and a test or proof of vaccination is optional.
