An 11-year-old child is in the hospital after a shooting Sunday night. Rochester police were called to Magnolia Street around 9 p.m. for reports of a person shot. Officers found an 11-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Police say the boy was inside a house when it was hit by a bullet. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
