Standup Comedy isn't easy.
There's always that guy who says, "I always wanted to try standup." OK... go for it. Find an open mic, get up there and do it then. You don't know until you try, after all.
When you do comedy on things in the news it can be tricky as well since the information can change. If you're not careful, your joke could be outdated. That can be bad... or really funny. Either way it's awkward.
That's exactly what happened to Lewis Spears. He was telling a joke about the British Monarchy and Prince Philip... who literally died early that day. Lewis had no idea and the audience ended up pointing it out to him.
What ensued was awkward but hilarious!
