NewsRadio WHAM 1180 Reporting: The Rochester Police Department is involved in another controversy.
Rochester's mayor, members of city council and the Police Accountability Board are all questioning why police used mace on a young girl who was refusing to be put in a police car.
Police say they were putting her into the car for her own safety after a parent said she was planning self-harm, and used the chemical when she refused and fought.
The new Person in Crisis team did not respond because the call was originally reported as a possible stolen car.
