Leticia Astacio apparently isn't done wanting to serve the people of Rochester.
David Andreatta from the Democrat and Chronicle is reporting that Astacio made it known to the Monroe County Board of Elections that she intends to circulate petitions to get on the ballot for two open City Court seats in November's election AND that she's planning on running for the open City Council seat representing the Northwest District.
Astacio is still facing a felony charge for attempting to purchase a shotgun while on probation from her DWI conviction. That trial is set to begin in April in Syracuse. It was moved out of the Rochester area after her lawyer successfully argued that she wouldn't be able to get a fair trial in Monroe County due to the extensive media coverage the original DWI, subsequent alleged violations of probation and eventual removal from the bench by the State Court of Appeals.
