Rochester Fire Fighters were busy last night after a three story home on Monroe Avenue caught fire around 9 o'clock.
Fire officials believe the fire started on a second story balcony and spread to the attic.
All residents were able to get out, but one firefighter did suffer burns to his ear.
Unfortunately one cat was killed according to fire officials BUT Kimberly was sent this photo by the 4th man that shows another kitty was able to escape.
Thanks to the man (RG&E or city worker?) who held on to the poor scared little kitty.
UPDATE: Eric from G. Federico Wrecking, the company that was destroying the home, called in to talk about how he saved the cat while the home was being demolished.
The 4th man also sent a photo showing the building has already been demolished.
