The worst thing about youth sports continues to be....PARENTS. Another examples comes courtesy of a game between some players from East High and a team from Erie, Pennsylvania.

News 8 is reporting that the fisticuffs that started after a tournament near DiTullio's hometown of Erie, PA when Rochester player got in an argument with Erie parents.

East High Superintendent Shaun Nelms released the following statement today:

East school officials recently became aware of an altercation between students from several Section 5 schools following a travel basketball tournament in Erie, N.Y. over the weekend. While this was not an East sponsored or supported event, three East students were involved in this incident. Because this was a non-sanctioned school event, the adults who were present intervened immediately and called police for assistance. Behavior like this is not an acceptable way to resolve conflict.
