A beaver in Harkers Island, North Carolina was having a grand old time playing in the ocean last week, but has confused a lot of people.
Not many of us are beaver experts (please hold the jokes to yourself) and we're sure you haven't seen a beaver doing this in salt water before.
The Cape Lookout National Seashore Facebook page put up the video with the following caption:
"Believe it or not, this beaver decided on a beach vacation. It was spotted yesterday (5/2/2019) swimming on the sound side of the island. Can someone who is familar with beavers (they are not common in salt water) explain why it is blowing bubbles in the water?"
